In individual therapy, I collaborate with you to help treat issues and manage mental conditions with the end goal of improving your quality of life. Our standard 50-minute therapy sessions are tailored to your particular needs, with shorter or longer sessions possible on a case by case basis.
Our initial couple’s consultation is used to ascertain what your particular goals are for therapy. This can be to keep conflict discussions calm, increase respect, affection, and closeness, or something else.
Couples counseling sessions can help you and your significant other to view your relationship more objectively. Our science-based, goal-oriented approach helps couples build and maintain enduring improvements in their relationships.
Participants in group therapy are urged to share both moments of strength and personal challenges with other group members. This helps to produce insights and build cohesiveness within the group. We offer group therapy at times convenient for you, such as evenings and weekends.
Our in-depth drug and alcohol assessments have also been used in state licensing matters, DWI cases, child custody cases, and as supplements to legal preparations. We use drug assessment tools including the SASSI-3, DAST, and MAST.
Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover or check payments can be made in person and are required at the beginning of each session. Out-of-Network Provider, however, a receipt can be provided for out of network services, once the session is paid in full, which you may submit to your insurance company. With out-of-network services, in some cases, the difference between the out of pocket expense and the reimbursement rate is similar to the expense of a co-pay when using insurance and will still apply toward your deductible.
Clients are responsible for understanding their policies.
In the event that your insurance doesn't cover the cost of a session, you would be responsible for the full amount. Payment plans can be arranged if needed.
Cash vs. Insurance: What all clients need to understand It is important to understand a few issues when choosing to use your insurance for mental health services. When seeking psychotherapy services at any clinic, and submitting these services to your insurance company, you will be forming a record of your status and treatment, just like a medical record. This means that in order for insurance to cover this treatment, there must be an illness, or disorder, that is diagnosed and reported to the insurance company, just like a flu diagnosed by a doctor demonstrating a reason for the treatment. This information can then be requested by other insurance policies you apply for, and other entities if required by their policies. Many people do not have concerns about this, or complications with it either, but it is important for you to be informed. When paying cash for psychotherapy sessions, there is more confidentiality in the sense that insurance companies do not have access to the record of a diagnosis or of your treatment. In addition, you are also then able to seek counseling services without being required to have an illness.
